Can You Really Become Telepathic?

When we say someone is telepathic' are we talking about something that really exists? Most people think not"they dismiss the idea as mysticism or science fiction. On the other hand, don't we live in a world where people fly on a regular basis? Where information floats invisibly through the air for use with laptops and cell phones? Where anyone can conjure a tongue of flame in their hand with the use of a $1 cigarette lighter?
Is has been said that a sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. The human race has used science and technology to learn things about the natural world we never knew. We've done things that were considered impossible flights of fancy jut a hundred years ago. We've had men walk on the bottoms of the oceans and on the surface of the moon (and we did it with technology that, by today's standards, seems primitive). We can gather energy from the sun, the wind, and the water. And anyone can have a small device in their pocket that allows them to talk to anyone anywhere in the world. But this isn't magic, its science right?
Its often considered mysticism to believe someone may be a gifted telepathic. Mysticism is only another word for magic and is it really much of a stretch to believe the possibility of a telepathic individual? Who just simply develop mental properties greatly misunderstood by the majority of people.
Investigation, by scientists, of people who are telepathic, is called parapsychology or paraphysics. Even those who investigate this use scientific methods and experiments to get answers to questions on telepathy regardless of what the answer may be or whether its the answer they are looking for.
Some experiments on people with Telepathic powers have produced tantalizing results. In order to consider something scientifically provable, however, the test results must be measurable, consistent, and repeatable. This is where the scientific investigation of telepathy falls short"the test results are inconsistent and can't always be duplicated. Some say this proves people can't really be Telepathic. Others say this only proves that we don't understand how it works yet, and haven't developed the proper tests to measure it.
How is it possible there are individuals who are Telepathic? How do they communicate with only their minds without using all their other senses? Obviously it is by a means not understood completely. One that doesnt involve hearing, taste, smell or touch, but nevertheless exists. But, can this be done using artificial means (communication technology). You cant see, feel, smell or touch radio waves, but we all know they exist.And then again, the human brain cannot be considered a radio tower.
Or is it? 'Thought waves', defined as an electrical and magnetic fiend generated by the brain, has been proven to exist. This is the keystone that scientific Telepathic studies rest on. We'll try to explain it in layman's terms, but it may get a little complicated, so just bear with us.
The thoughts of a human is a biochemical process. The process of nervous impulse being transferred from one neuron to another. This transfer of nervous impulses creates an electrical current - minute, but it can be measured. This current generates a very small magnetic field where the brain has thousands of these synapses firing.
Can this bio-electric and bio-magnetic field be used by humans to communicate mind-to-mind? Do these electrical and magnetic waves carry content, or just the brain equivalent of meaningless static? Can people use mental training to control these brain waves? Can techniques like meditation or controlled thought be used to shape these brain waves into meaningful communication?

With the magnetic or electrical fields there are problems and these fields can easily be drowned out by the technology of everyday items like televisions, microwaves, refrigerators, stereos produce much bigger electrical and magnetic fields. Can there possibly be a way to the magnetic and electrical fields of the human brain? For example during an emotionally heightened state, such as shock, fear, pain, or the feeling of danger. A temporary spike in bio-magnetic and bio-electrical is created by the neural synapses firing in the brain.
Researchers of parapsychology have documented brief Telepathic communications. One instance is a mothers knowing her child has been hurt, even though they are separated by many miles. This fear and anxiety the parent experiences creates the spiking of neurons and is this brain activity telepathically communicating? Does the relationship between two individuals contribute to telepathy? Or perhaps is this all just coincidence?
Unfortunately, there is not enough scientific evidence at the moment to prove that telepathy is a fact beyond doubt, as far as mainstream science is concerned.
