Positive Rocket Spanish Reviews- Are They Too Good To Be True, Or Is There Something There?

Positive Rocket Spanish reviews seem to be everywhere on the web these days. Can something that people talk about that much really be as good as everyone says, or is it a simple case of Orson Wells-ish mass hysteria? I went to find out. Generally I am an inherent disbeliever especially as it relates to educational products bought on the internet.
In terms of knowing a thing or two about the quality of educational products, or lack there-of, this is not my first time at the rodeo. I've helped ESOL students since I was a youngster, and have always had a special knack for languages myself, and this of course breeds more curiosity when it comes to targeted products that are generally overly hyped when it comes to the interwebz. Let me just put it like this, if it's been out in the last 10+ years I know about it, and have experience with it. Some of them are excellent, most of them suck.
Here's what you should know about me before I start talking about which category Rocket Spanish falls into.
*Products that suck don't get by me easily, I try something out, and speak the truth. If it's worth it I keep it, if not, it's out by the curb like yesterday's paper.
*In spite of my love for Spanish as a separate unit, I've taught so many ESOL students that I know what it takes to teach and learn languages, regardless of the language in question
* I can spot a winner a mile away, since I know how to wade through all the crap.
All right, now that we have that established, I am going to tell you my findings. I didn't expect for this to turn out this way, but, the great majority of those positive reviews for Rocket Spanish are absolutely founded in fact.
Simply, they are correct, and the hype is relevant to what is provided. It is a quality product that will allow you to gain language skills upon which you can build. It uses an approach which covers many different areas, and is overall very user friendly and accessible.
The skeptic in me didn't think I'd be won over, but I was. The positive reviews of Rocket Spanish are well deserved and it is obvious the creators of this product are in it for the love of language teaching.
