With many vertical jump programs currently out on the market, it seems that only a few of them really help boost an athletes' jumping ability. The jump machines and jump shoes sold in sports retail shops that athletes and sports enthusiasts purchase provide some varying degrees of success. These so called jump enhancing toys may not be the only answer one can turn to in order to really have a substantial increase in jumping ability. Doing jump exercises in one's own home is much more practical and effective than simply putting your trust in jump machines and jump shoes.

As with other exercise equipments found at the gym, the use of jump machines is quite limited as you are not the only one waiting in line to use them. And, as popular as these jump machines are, they are not as effective as you might realize.

Another popular item among jump enthusiasts are the jump shoes. These shoes are actually quite effective in helping the user jump higher in the first few times of using it. What this equipment does is train your calf and foot muscles to the point of over-using them, that's why there is some clear results at first. But once the pattern of the training or use is done, it loses its effectiveness and may even cause injury.

In order to really see clear and long-term benefits in increasing your vertical leap, you have to follow and train diligently under programs that incorporate all the muscles involved in jumping. Since jump machines and jump shoes only target one or two of the muscles that an individual uses for jumping, the results they provide are quite short and limited. If you really want to fly past your opponents and do that dramatic slam dunk you've always been dreaming about, check out the programs that do this.

While jump exercises are clearly plays an important role in the subject, there is one other underestimated and often overlooked factor that will provide you with the quickest results possible --having the proper nutrition. Proper nutrition affects an athletes' overall performance in terms of quickness, overall energy level, and jumping ability.

In conclusion, as many of the jump programs out there have yet to be proven to be really effective, going with this program may be your solution. It provides you with all the basic exercises important to jumping and gives you an excellent nutrition guide. Double your vertical leap...today!
