For the guys out there who are interested in the ebook Double Your Dating authored by David DeAngelo, I have provided a quick review of the contents of the book so you can decide if it is worth your time and money!
David DeAngelo's book covers a lot of topics, but the ones I found most interesting were:
* being yourself * differences between the sexes * dispelling myths and misconceptions
Should you just being yourself?
Being yourself is not enough and should not be the focus, instead the author teaches that men should be the best self he can be. I see that a lot of guys try and be themselves and then are not successful with women, so I think it is very important to first learn how to be attractive to girls. So guys need to stop acting like themselves, at least for a while, till they figure out how to get girls, then make that become the new part of themselves!
What are the differences in the gender roles between the sexes?
In Double Your Dating, the author explains that there is a different between the two genders and talks about why men in society today are confused. In our society, a lot of guys do not know what to do, because they are all confused having been brainwashed by the media. They believe that they need to be nice guys, or wussy boys in order to get women. This is where things take a wrong turn and problems begin to surface. Girls and women in general like men who demonstrate characteristics of a man. But since a lot of guys are confused now they act like women. That's a big part of the reason as to why some guys don't get women, because they don't act like a man, but instead act like women!
Misconceptions dispelled
Society has given the impression to men that in order to get women they need to be either, tall, handsome, rich or powerful. Clearly is not the case at all. It is very important to have these aspects as part of your personality, because it shows to women that a guy with these things is social respected and has high social standing. To have a high social status, you don't need to look like you have all the material items that money could buy. The author shows you how to convey these traits into your own personality so you can get girls without being rich or famous!
